Licensed Clinical Social Worker

    Psychology Group of Tampa Bay is expanding, and we’re excited to welcome a new Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to our beautiful, newly established office in Brandon, FL. This full-time, in-person opportunity is ideal for a passionate clinician who values autonomy, collaboration, and clinical integrity.

    We offer a supportive team culture, full administrative support, and the chance to focus on what you do best—providing exceptional therapy. Clinicians have the option to work with adults, adolescents, or both, and may also supervise MSW interns as part of their professional role.

    • Provide high-quality individual therapy to clients in a private, supportive setting

    • Conduct intake assessments and maintain timely, HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation

    • Optionally supervise MSW interns, with support from our team

    • Engage in the life of the practice—team meetings, case consults, and ongoing learning opportunities

    • Build a caseload that reflects your preferred client populations and clinical specialties

    • Active LCSW license in the state of Florida (required)

    • Experience providing individual therapy to adults, adolescents, or both

    • Background in evidence-based treatments (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed therapy)

    • Interest in supervision and mentoring (preferred but not required)

Pre-Doctoral Practicum Student

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Pre-Doctoral Psychology Practicum Student to join our multidisciplinary team. This practicum experience is an opportunity to gain clinical experience working with children, adolescents and adults using evidence-based therapeutic frameworks, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). The practicum experience will also offer opportunities in psychological testing and assessment with a diverse populations.

    • Provide individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults utilizing ACT, DBT, and CBT approaches.

    • Conduct psychological assessments including intellectual, emotional, and behavioral evaluations for children, adolescents and adults.

    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and provide comprehensive care.

    • Provide case management and consultation with other healthcare professionals as needed.

    • Engage in clinical supervision and professional development opportunities.

    • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with ethical standards and regulations.

    • Masters degree in Clinical, School, or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.

    • Active enrollment in an APA-accredited graduate program.

    • Experience in ACT, DBT, or CBT

    • Introduction level assessment skills and experience in psychological testing (e.g., intelligence testing, ADHD assessments, emotional/behavioral evaluations).

    • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

    • Ability to demonstrate empathy, cultural competency, and professionalism when working with diverse populations.

    • Structured supervision and mentorship from licensed psychologists.
